Second public forum on proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential properties on January 4

     Members of the public are reminded that the second public forum to solicit the views of the public on the proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential properties will be held on January 4 (Wednesday). People who are interested in attending the forum can call the hotline at 2233 9313 from 10am to 6pm on January 3 (Tuesday) and 10am to noon on January 4 or register online via the Transport and Housing Bureau (THB) website. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

     The forum, to be held from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Central Library, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, is the second one organised as part of the public consultation exercise on the proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential properties. The first public forum was held on December 16.

     The public consultation exercise will last until January 28. Members of the public are welcome to send in their views on the subject through e-mail, fax, post or the THB's e-forum. Submissions may be published in their original form as part of the consultation report.
