Chief Executive on duty visit to Beijing

     The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will pay a duty visit to Beijing between December 25 and 27.

     Mr Tsang will brief the state leaders on the latest economic, social and political developments in Hong Kong. He will also meet with officials from Central Government ministries, including the National Development and Reform Commission and the People's Bank of China.

     The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Professor Gabriel Leung; Director of Information Services, Mr Michael Wong; Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Ms Bernadette Linn; Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping and Assistant Director (Media), Ms Betty Ho.

     Mr Tsang will depart for Hong Kong on the morning of December 28. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Stephen Lam, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
