Murder in Tuen Mun

     Police are investigating a murder case in Tuen Mun early this morning (December 5), in which a 18-year-old man was killed.    

     About 1.20am, Police received a report that a private car drove to San Sau Street, Tuen Mun. Three men alighted the car and assaulted a 18-year-old man with knifes. The car later attempted to leave the scene but rammed into the railings and a taxi parked on the roadside. The driver got off and fled away.     

     The three culprits were picked up by another private car and fled away.  

     The victim sustained cut wound on his chest and right foot. He was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital, where he was later certified dead.  

     Police located a knife cover, which was believed to be in connection with the case, at scene.

     About 3.30am, Police received another report, alleging a private car was on fire on Sham Wan Road, Tin Shui Wai. Initial investigation revealed that suspicious was detected on the fire and Police believed the private car was the one which picked up the three culprits.   

     The case is classified as ¡¥Murder¡¦ and investigations by Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are underway.
