Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tai Po last night (December 4) in which a 21-year-old man was killed.
About 11.25pm, a motorcycle driven by the 21-year-old man was travelling along a slip road of Tai Wo Road to northbound Tolo Highway. When approaching a bend on the road, the motorcycle reportedly lost control and side turned.
The motorcyclist sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 0.47am today (December 5). A 20-year-old male passenger of the motorcycle also sustained injury to his left arm and was sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
Investigations will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
