Police are anxious to locate the next of kin of a boy who was abandoned in Lau Fau Shan this morning (November 30).
About 5.25am, Police received a report that a boy aged around five to seven was found abandoned outside No. 35 Fui Yip Street.
He is about one metre tall and 16 kilograms in weight with short black hair. He was found wearing a blue jacket, a light brown shirt and blue trousers, carrying no identity document. Initial investigation revealed that he has difficulty in walking and was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for medical checkup.
Investigations by District Crime Squad of Yuen Long Police District are underway.
Police urged relatives of the boy or anyone who has information to offer to contact the investigating officers on 3661 4641 or duty officer of Tin Shui Wai Police Station on 3661 4810.
