Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Sau Mau Ping in October in which a 77-year-old woman died.
About 5.45am on October 27, a taxi driven by a 59-year-old man was travelling along Lee On Road towards Clear Water Bay Road. When reaching Lee Yip House of Shun Lee Estate, it reportedly hit the 77-year-old woman who was walking out from the pavement.
Sustaining head and right leg injuries, the woman was rushed to the United Christian Hospital where she was certified dead at 11.58am on November 27.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East, are continuing.
