The Hospital Authority (HA) today (November 25) published the Medication Safety Bulletin (MSB), which is one of the Authority's regular publications to promote risk management among healthcare professionals in public hospitals.
In this issue, the educational bulletin featured the benefits of medication reconciliation in preventing adverse drug events while highlighting the key steps in implementing this risk management tool.
The bulletin also carries highlights of the International Medication Safety Conference held earlier this month, which was attended by 500 local healthcare practitioners, overseas and Mainland delegates.
The publication has already been posted on the Internet for sharing with healthcare professionals. Members of the public are also welcome to browse the publication using the following link: www.ha.org.hk/msb .
The MSB is published every six months, on the last Fridays of May and November. The next issue will be published on May 25, 2012.
