Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 52-year-old man was killed in Wong Tai Sin this morning (November 25).
About 9am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 63-year-old man and a motorcycle driven by a 52-year-old man were travelling east along Lung Cheung Road. When approaching near Tin Ma Court, the two vehicles reportedly slowed down due to traffic situation and a LGV behind driven by a 28-year-old man failed to stop and collided with them.
The 52-year-old male motorcyclist sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 9.32am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon East are ongoing.
