Lost weapons recovered
**********************

Police recovered all the weapons, which were reportedly lost by a police officer yesterday (November 23), in Tuen Mun this evening (November 24).

Police received a report from a police constable attached to Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) last night (November 23), claiming that he had lost his weapon, including six bullets (ammunition), a speed loader (with pouch), an extendible baton (with pouch) and a bottle of OC foam (with pouch), which were all stored in a black shoulder bag.

At about 7.15pm, Police received a report from a man, claiming that a black shoulder bag, which appeared to be the one reportedly lost, was at a telephone booth near the bus terminus at Siu Hong Court, Tuen Mun.

Police sped to the scene and located the shoulder bag inside the booth. However, the informant had left the scene before Police's arrival. Initial examination revealed that the bag was the one which reportedly lost and all the weapons inside were recovered.

Investigations by Regional Crime Unit of Hong Kong Island were underway.
