Police today (November 22) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a homicide case in which a 43-year-old South Asian man (Danyal Micheal) died in North Point on November 11.
About 9.45pm on that day, Police received a report that the man was found collapsed inside a unit at No. 293-299 King's Road and he was subsequently certified dead at the scene. Initial post-mortem results revealed that he died of multiple stab wounds.
Police arrested a 38-year-old expatriate woman in North Point on the same day. After investigation, she was released yesterday (November 21) due to insufficient evidence.
Active investigations by Regional Crime Unit of Hong Kong Island are proceeding.
