Two women charged with murder

     Police today (November 19) charged two expatriate women, aged 26 and 32, with one count of murder respectively.

     Two expatriate women were suspected to be in connection with a murder case at Ying Lung Wai in Yuen Long on November 16. The 26-year-old woman, who gave birth to a baby on November 16, dumped the baby at a refuse collection point at Ying Lung Wai with the help of her 32-year-old female friend. Initial investigation revealed that the baby is believed to have been sent to the West New Territories Landfill in Tuen Mun.

     Police are still conducting a search at the West New Territories Landfill today and investigations by District Crime Squad, Yuen Long are continuing.

     The two expatriate women will appear at Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts next Monday (November 21).
