The Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose SK Lee, will leave Hong Kong today (November 13) for a visit to Seoul and Tokyo.
Mr Lee will meet his Korean and Japanese counterparts to update them on the latest developments in Hong Kong. He will also exchange views with them on issues of common concern.
In Seoul, Mr Lee will meet officials of Korean National Police Agency, Korea Immigration Service, National Emergency Management Agency and Nuclear Safety and Security Commission.
While in Tokyo, Mr Lee will call on a number of Japanese officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Customs and Tariff Bureau, Immigration Bureau and Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency.
Mr Lee will return to Hong Kong on November 19.
