The Town Planning Board today (November 11) announced amendments to the approved Shek Kip Mei Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of two sites to the north of Lung Cheung Road at Tai Wo Ping from "Government, Institution or Community" ("GI/C") to "Residential (Group C) 11" and "Residential (Group C) 12", the existing sloping area to the north of Lung Cheung Road and bounded by Beacon Heights and Phoenix House from "GI/C" to "Green Belt", and the at-grade portions of the proposed vehicular access to the "Residential (Group C) 11" and "Residential (Group C) 12" sites to area shown as "Road", and well as revision of the maximum building height restriction for a "GI/C" site at the junction of Lung Cheung Road and Lung Ping Road.
The draft Shek Kip Mei OZP No. S/K4/26, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office and the Sham Shui Po District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before January 11, 2012. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be made available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website at www.info.gov.hk/tpb.
