Police appeal for witnesses to fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan

     Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan on October 29 in which a 57-year-old man died.

     About 9.45am on that day, a taxi driven by the 57-year-old man was travelling along Wai Tsuen Road southbound. When approaching the junction of Shek Wai Kok Road, it reportedly lost control and rammed into the railings.

     The taxi driver was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.40pm.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South, are underway. Police believed a passenger onboard had left the scene after the accident.

     Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3661 1348 or 3661 1300.
