Proposed vehicular bridge at Kiu Hing Road near Wong Nai Tun gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (November 4) on the proposed construction of a vehicular bridge crossing a nullah, linking Kiu Hing Road and a road near Wong Nai Tun.

     The proposed works include:

(a) construction of a vehicular bridge across the nullah at Kiu Hing Road near Wong Nai Tun with associated footpaths;
(b) temporary closure and reconstruction of sections of the existing carriageways; and
(c) ancillary works including drainage and road works; and provision of lighting.

     The works are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2012 and be completed in the first quarter of 2014.

     The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed works or their use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, on or before January 3, 2012.
