Police today (November 1) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Tuen Mun on September 30.
At 9.49am on that day, Police received a report that a male body was found inside a flat at Ting Cheung House of On Ting Estate.
The deceased was believed to be an 82-year-old man of thin build and short hair. He was wearing a pair of grey shorts when he was found. An identity card bearing the name of "Cheng Sun" was found at scene.
Initial investigations revealed that there was no suspicious circumstance surrounding his death.
Police urged anyone who knows the deceased or has any information about his next-of-kin to contact officers of Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Castle Peak Division on 3661 5935 or 3661 5937.
