The Hong Kong SAR Government Disciplined Services Exchange Delegation encountered a traffic accident in Linhai during its visit in Zhejiang today (October 28). A Security Bureau spokesperson said in the delegation comprising about 110 members, initial information showed that six disciplined services staff, including four Immigration Department staff and two Fire Services Department staff, were injured. Four of them were slightly injured while two other members sustained more serious injuries to their leg and waist respectively. We understand that the injured members are receiving medical treatment there.
Family members of the injured members have been informed of the accident. The SAR Government will spare no effort in rendering all necessary assistance to the injured members and their families.
