Additional "Cantonese Operatic Concert" to be staged

     As the "Cantonese Operatic Concerts" presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department have received an encouraging response, an additional concert will be held on the Cantonese Opera Day in November. Renowned Cantonese opera artists Wan Fai-yin, Ng Chin-fung, Yuen Siu-fai, Lee Lung, Nam Fung, Chan Wing-yee, Chan Kim-sing and Wai Chun-fai are going to perform at the concert.

     Details of the additional performance are as follows:

November 27 (Sunday), 7.30pm
Concert Hall, Hong Kong Cultural Centre
Included in the programme: "Burning Funerary Goods for His Love", "Chasing After Her Husband" from "Princess Shuangyang", "Farewell at the Willow Pavilion" from "Lin Chong", "Embroidering the Pomander", "Broken Bridge", "Lovers Who Die For Love", "Third Master Sha and His Charming Maid" and "Three Glimpses of the Princess Liu Jinding".

     Tickets priced from $100 to $260 are now available at all URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by credit card telephone booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for full-time students and CSSA recipients available on a first-come, first-served basis).
