Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O today (October 25) in which a 27-year-old man died.
About 8.15am, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 65-year-old man was travelling along Po Lam Road North downhill while a motorcycle driven by the 27-year-old man was travelling uphill. When approaching near No. 1 Po Lam Road North, the motorcycle reportedly lost control and rammed the PLB.
The motorcyclist sustained severe head injury and was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital where he was certified dead at 9.22am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are under way.
