The Highways Department today (October 21) invited tenders for two maintenance term contracts in the New Territories.
The two term contracts are:
(1) "Management and Maintenance of Roads in Tai Po and North Districts excluding High Speed Roads 2012 - 2016" (Contract No: 06/HY/2011)
Contract term: April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2016.
(2) "Management and Maintenance of Roads in Sha Tin, Sai Kung and Islands Districts excluding High Speed Roads 2012 - 2018" (Contract No: 07/HY/2011)
Contract term: April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2018.
The works mainly comprise the management and maintenance of public roads (excluding high speed roads), including associated slopes, highway structures, landscaping and minor improvement works. The two contracts will be supervised by the New Territories Region of the Highways Department.
Interested contractors can obtain the tender forms and other particulars from the office of Chief Highway Engineer/New Territories East, New Territories Region, Highways Department, on the second floor, Ho Man Tin Government Offices, 88 Chung Hau Street, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon.
Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box located on the ground floor, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong. Submission of tenders will be closed at noon on December 2 (Friday), 2011.
