Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan today (October 13) in which a 64-year-old man died.
About 8.41am, a public light bus driven by a 68-year-old man was travelling along Sai Lau Kok Road towards Tsuen Wan Police Station. When approaching outside Tsuen Wan Multi-storey Carpark Building, it reportedly hit the 64-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man sustained severe head injury. He was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital and was transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was subsequently certified dead at 3.22pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South Region are under way.
