Prospects Theatre showcases creative strengths again with Playwright Scheme VI
**********************************************************

The annual meeting for local theatre playwrights is ready to showcase creative strengths in Prospects Theatre's Playwright Scheme. The scheme, now in its sixth year, will be staged from November to December. Performances are presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Playwright Scheme is exclusively for new plays, bringing together 22 playwrights to present 22 plays that show us slices of life, delivered with acumen, insight and soulful sharing. Each production set to unfold onstage is unique in its own way, and the theatre practitioners come from all sectors of the field: seasoned acting pros, the most sought-after playwrights, producers and directors who think out of the box, and "crouching tiger, hidden dragon" talents ready to pounce with otherwise concealed energy and abilities.
