Temporary closure of main pool of Tseung Kwan O Swimming Pool

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 11) that the main pool of Tseung Kwan O Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for emergency maintenance work as a result of a cracked underwater glass panel.
The maintenance work is expected to be completed by early December. Detailed arrangements on the reopening of the main pool will be announced later on.
To minimise the inconvenience caused to swimmers, the annual maintenance for the main pool, scheduled between April and May, 2012, will be conducted during the temporary closure period.
