The East Wing Forecourt of the new Central Government Offices (CGO) at Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, will be opened to members of the public for holding public activities on Sundays and public holidays with effect from October 16, 2011. The compound at the CGO at Lower Albert Road will be closed for that purpose on the same date. Applications for the use of the East Wing Forecourt can now be submitted to the Administration Wing. Relevant guidance notes and application forms were uploaded to the Administration Wing's website (www.admwing.gov.hk) on October 7, 2011.
Separately, members of the public can continue to submit petition letters to the Government at the designated area outside the West Gate of the CGO at Lower Albert Road until further notice, or outside the East Wing Forecourt of the new CGO.
