Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po

     Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po on August 29 in which a 30-year-old man was killed.

     At about 11.16am on that day, a light goods vehicle driven by a 51-year-old man was travelling along Wong Chuk Street north bound. When reaching near Ki Lung Street, it reportedly hit the 30-year-old man who was crossing the road.

     Sustaining head injury, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.36pm on September 7.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.

     Anyone who witnessed the accident or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2773 5258 or 2773 5200.
