Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach reopened

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 6) that the shark prevention nets at Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung District have been repaired and the beaches have been reopened. The beaches were temporarily closed earlier on for maintenance work on shark prevention nets.
However, due to big waves, the red flag has been hoisted at Clear Water Bay First Beach. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beach.
