Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan

     Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan on September 6 in which a 95-year-old man was killed.

     About 8.10am on that day, a light goods vehicle driven by a 45-year-old man was travelling along Tai Po Road towards Sha Tin. When reaching near the Kowloon Reservoir, it reportedly hit the 95-year-old man.

     Sustaining serious head injury, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.05am on September 22.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, are underway.

     Anyone who witnessed the accident or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2773 5258 or 2773 5200.
