The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, visited the exhibition featuring masterpieces of late Ming and early Qing art from the Hong Kong Chih Lo Lou Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) in New York this afternoon (September 21, New York time). Running from September to January next year in the city's premier museum, the exhibition showcases more than 60 landscape paintings and calligraphies collected by the late Hong Kong philanthropist Ho Iu-kwong. The exhibition was organised by the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Chih Lo Lou Art Promotion (Non-profit Making) Ltd. The briefing was conducted by Research Associate of the MET's Department of Asian Art, Dr Shi-yee Liu.
