The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 20) that all leisure facilities at Po Lam Sports Centre in Sai Kung District will be temporarily closed for electrical works from 9am to 4pm on October 7. During this period, the Leisure Link counter booking services at the sports centre will also be suspended. The public may use similar facilities and services at Tsui Lam Sports Centre or Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre in the same district.
The tennis courts at Tin Shui Wai Park in Yuen Long District will be temporarily closed for renovation from October 17 to November 25. During this period, the public may use the Sai Ching Street Tennis Courts in the same district.
The arena at Java Road Sports Centre in Eastern District will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from October 19 to November 6. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open during this period. The public may use the arenas at Island East Sports Centre or Quarry Bay Sports Centre in the same district.
Meanwhile, the arena and squash courts at Sheung Wan Sports Centre in Central and Western District will be temporarily closed for renovation from November 1, 2011 to January 8, 2012. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open during this period. The public may use similar facilities at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre in the same district.
