Police are investigating the death of a 47-year-old Auxiliary Police Constable who was found injured inside a toilet of Tsuen Wan Police Station and later certified dead today (September 17).
At about 4pm, Police received a report that an Auxiliary Police Constable attached to Patrol Sub Unit of Tsuen Wan District was found injured in a toilet of Tsuen Wan Police Station. .
He was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital where he was certified dead at 5pm.
Initial investigation revealed that he suffered from a gun shot wound on his head and would not exclude the possibility of suicide. Investigations by District Crime Squad of Tsuen Wan District are underway.
A post mortem will be conducted later on the deceased to ascertain his cause of death.
