Hung Shui Kiu No.3 alarm fire roundup

A No.3 alarm fire broke out at a recyclable storage site in San Sang Tsuen, Tin Ha Road, Hung Shui Kiu yesterday afternoon (September 15). A large quantity of recyclable materials was damaged by fire. The affected area measures about 80 metres x 100 metres.
The fire broke out at 6.12pm and was upgraded to No.3 alarm at 6.44pm. Firemen used 11 jets and nine breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. It was largely put out at 11.24pm.
A fireman was injured and sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.
Investigation is continuing.
