The final registers of electors for 2011 were released today (September 15).
"A record high of 3,560,535 electors are carried in the final register for the geographical constituencies. These registered electors are eligible to vote in the District Council election in November," a spokesman for the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) said today.
The distribution of electors for the five geographical constituencies is as follows:

For the functional constituencies, 243,142 electors are listed in the final register.
The final register for the Election Committee subsectors contains 249,554 voters.
"Records of more than 293,700 geographical constituency electors, about 3,000 functional constituency electors and about 3,300 Election Committee subsector voters have been updated in the final registers," the spokesman said.
Statistical information about these final registers is available at the voter registration website (www.voterregistration.gov.hk).
A full set of the final register for geographical constituencies can be inspected during ordinary business hours from Monday to Friday at the REO at 10/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai. The relevant section of the register pertinent to a particular district is also available for public inspection at the respective District Office.
For functional constituencies and Election Committee subsectors, full copies of the final registers are available for public inspection at the REO's Harbour Centre office and its office at 10/F Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, and the District Offices in Central, Mong Kok, Kwun Tong, Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan.
Registered electors may call the election hotline on 2891 1001 to enquire about their own registration particulars.
Notices on the inspection of the final registers were gazetted today.
