The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 12) that due to renovation works, squash court No. 1 at Fu Heng Sports Centre in Tai Po District will be temporarily closed from September 20 to October 17, while squash courts Nos. 2 and 3 will be temporarily closed from September 20 to November 11. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open during the periods. The public may use the squash court facilities at Tai Po Sports Centre, Tai Wo Sports Centre and Tai Po Sports Ground Squash and Tennis Centre in the same district.
The fitness room at Kowloon Park Sports Centre in Yau Tsim Mong District will be temporarily closed for maintenance from October 20 to 22. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open during the period. The public may use the fitness room facilities at Kwun Chung Sports Centre, Fa Yuen Street Sports Centre and Tai Kok Tsui Sports Centre in the same district.
In addition, the arena at Yue Kwong Road Sports Centre in Southern District will be temporarily closed for maintenance and renovation from November 1, 2011, to January 31, 2012. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open during the period. The public may use the arenas at Aberdeen Sports Centre, Wong Chuk Hang Sports Centre, Ap Lei Chau Sports Centre and Stanley Sports Centre in the same district.
