Police today (September 9) arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with a homicide case in which a 35-year-old woman was killed in Shatin.
At about 11.45am, the 35-year-old woman was found collapsed inside a unit at Mei Tao House in Mei Lam Estate. She was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital for medical treatment and was later certified dead at 3.19 pm. She sustained multiple bruises and fractures.
A 40-year-old man was arrested in Shatin in suspected connection with the case after Police investigation and will be detained overnight for further enquiries.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the woman.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Shatin are underway.
