The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, will leave for Xiamen in Fujian Province tonight (September 6) to attend the 15th China International Fair for Investment and Trade.
Mr Tsang will attend the opening ceremony of the 15th China International Fair for Investment and Trade tomorrow (September 7) and will attend the International Investment Forum 2011, which has the theme "China's 10 Years of WTO Membership – Openness, Co-operation and Win-Win Results" on Thursday (September 8).
While in Xiamen, Mr Tsang will call on provincial officials to strengthen ties with Fujian Province.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on Thursday night. The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan, will act as Financial Secretary while Mr Tsang is away for the duty visit.
