Administrative Officers embrace change
**************************************

Fresh recruits to the civil service Mr Ronald Leung and Ms Angora Ngai eagerly embrace the kaleidoscope of changing responsibilities that come with their Administrative Officer posts.

Mr Leung has been working in the Development Bureau's Harbour Unit, and is responsible for harbourfront enhancement projects. He equates his career to studying an encyclopedia of the whole of Hong Kong, and relishes the opportunity to help shape government policies.

Ms Ngai works in the Transport and Housing Bureau's Housing Branch, and is responsible for administering the regulation of private housing sales. She encourages potential candidates to apply for the Administrative Officer grade, particularly if they hope to become well-rounded generalists.

The pair share their experiences in a story that appeared in text and video versions on the news.gov.hk website today (August 28).
