Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan this morning (August 19) in which a 25-year-old man was killed.
At about 8.40am, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 56-year-old man was travelling along Sha Tsui Road towards Kwai Chung bound. When approaching the junction with Kwan Mun Hau Street, the PLB reportedly knocked down a 25-year-old male pedestrian.
The male pedestrian sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where she was certified dead at 1.24pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are proceeding.
