Proposed Road Works at Pei Ho Street, Sham Shui Po gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (August 12) on proposed road works in Pei Ho Street, Sham Shui Po, to facilitate the comprehensive development at Hai Tan Street/Kweilin Street and Pei Ho Street, Sham Shui Po, to be implemented by the Urban Renewal Authority.

     The proposed works include permanent closure of sections of the existing carriageway and footpaths, permanent closure and conversion of sections of the existing carriageway into footpaths, and ancillary works including landscaping, drainage and utilities works.

     The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Centre,
99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong

Sham Shui Po District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
Ground Floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices,

10th floor, Yau Ma Tei Carpark Building,
250 Shanghai Street, Kowloon

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed works should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, on or before October 11, 2011.
