Appeal for information on missing man in Hong Kong International Airport (with photo)

Police today (August 11) appealed to the public for information on a foreign man who went missing in Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

Virdi Varinder, aged 31, a foreigner who arrived at HKIA on July 24 and then went missing. He was scheduled to transit to another country on the same day. His family made a report to the Police on July 26.

He is about 1.78 metres tall and of middle build. He has a long face with black complexion and short straight black hair.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing man or who may have seen him is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of New Territories South Region on 3661 1171-6 or any Police station.
