At the invitation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Vice Premier of the State Council, Mr Li Keqiang, will pay an official visit to Hong Kong from August 16 to 18, a Government spokesman announced today (August 9).
During his stay in Hong Kong, Mr Li will attend events including the Forum on the National 12th Five-Year Plan and Economic, Trade and Financial Co-operation and Development Between the Mainland and Hong Kong and the centenary celebration ceremony of the University of Hong Kong. In addition, Mr Li will visit some institutions and community facilities to learn about Hong Kong's economic situation and people's livelihood.
