The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said today (July 31) that the Hammer Hill Road Swimming Pool in Wong Tai Sin District has been temporarily closed for cleansing and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of vomitus and faeces in the pool.
The indoor pools will reopen at 5.30pm today, and the outdoor pools will reopen at 7pm today.
The department appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep our swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
