Police are investigating a traffic accident in Central early this morning (July 24) in which a 82-year-old man was killed.
About 3 am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 25-year-old man was travelling westbound Harcourt Road. When reaching Harcourt Garden, the LGV reportedly knocked down the 82-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man sustained serious head injuries and was certified dead at scene.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are underway.
