Widening works on Tan Kwai Tsuen Road gazetted

     The Government published a Gazette notice today (July 22) on the widening works of Tan Kwai Tsuen Road, under stage two of the Hung Shui Kiu development project, aiming to serve the anticipated traffic demand in the area.

     The works include widening of sections of the existing carriageway and footpaths on Tan Kwai Tsuen Road; permanent closure and demolition of sections of the existing carriageway; permanent closure and conversion of sections of the existing carriageway into footpaths; permanent closure and conversion of sections of existing footpaths into carriageway; temporary closure and reconstruction of sections of the existing carriageway and footpaths; and ancillary works including landscaping, drainage and utilities works.

     The plans and scheme are available for public inspection at the following places during office hours:

Public Enquiry Service Centre,
Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Center,

Hong Kong.

Public Enquiry Service Centre,

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed works or their use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, on or before September 20.
