Four choreographers join "Tea Break" to celebrate DanceArt's 15th Anniversary
************************************************************

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of DanceArt Hong Kong, the four seasoned choreographers Francis Leung, Andy Wong, Yvette Huang and Allen Lam - a quartet that share notable similarities in style and concepts but show individualistic traits - will appear on stage in a feast for the senses that marks an era of choreographic originality. The choreographers will present their interpretations of stories from real life alongside dancers who have either been long-time partners or have gone into hiatus for some time.

As a pioneer in self-choreographed solo productions in Hong Kong, DanceArt will present in this dance theatre production a poignant work featuring themes on Hong Kong. Under the artistic direction of Leung, and building on 15 years of collaboration between Leung and Wong since they founded DanceArt in 1995, the group will strive to take the art of dance to wider and higher realms of excellence. DanceArt has gone on cultural exchange tours to many parts of the world, and it received a Hong Kong Dance Alliance Dance Award for its "A Beautiful Life Series" in 2003 in recognition of its efforts in addressing social issues through dance.

"Tea Break" by DanceArt Hong Kong is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It will be staged at 8pm on August 26 and 27 (Friday and Saturday) at the Shouson Theatre, Hong Kong Arts Centre.
