Road improvement works at Tin Ha Road gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (July 8) on the road improvement works at Tin Ha Road under Stage Two of the Hung Shui Kiu development project.

     The works include widening of the existing carriageway for the section of Tin Ha Road between Ping Ha Road and San Lee Uk Tsuen; permanent closure and conversion of sections of the existing carriageway into footpaths; permanent closure and conversion of sections of the existing footpaths into carriageway; permanent closure and conversion of sections of the existing cycle track into carriageway or footpath; temporary closure and reconstruction of sections of the existing carriageway, footpaths and cycle track; and ancillary works including landscaping, drainage and utilities works.

     The plans and scheme are available for public inspection at the following places during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed works or their use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, on or before September 6.
