Police this early morning (July 6) arrested a 24-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman in connection with a murder case in Yau Ma Tei on June 29 in which a 38-year-old man died.
About 7.50am on June 29, the 38-year-old man was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital by a private car for medical treatment and the car left the hospital immediately afterwards. Sustaining various wounds, the injured man was certified dead at 8.12am on the same day.
In the same morning, Police located a suspicious private car at Woosung Street in Yau Ma Tei and arrested a 36-year-old man inside. The man has already been charged with one count of murder on June 30.
Under further investigation, Police arrested a 24-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman for murder in a unit in Sham Shui Po this early morning (July 6). They are being detained for enquiries.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Yau Tsim District are underway.
