Police are investigating a traffic accident in Happy Valley this afternoon (July 4) in which a 59-year-old man died.
About 1.50pm, a medium goods vehicle driven by the 59-year-old man was reportedly reversing at a slip road in Villa Monte Rosa and rammed into a traffic sign. The driver was then found collapsed inside the vehicle.
The driver was taken to Ruttonjee Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.42pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are under way.
