Police today (June 30) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found case in Hung Hom on June 26.
About 3.25pm that day, Police received a report that a body was found floating off 80 Salisbury Road. The body was believed to be a Chinese female aged about 25 to 30 and no identity document could be found in her possession.
The deceased stood about 1.6 metres and was of thin build. She was wearing a black short-sleeved blouse, a brown camisole with purple and blue flower pattern and a pair of black trousers. A watch and a gold necklace were also found on the body.
Initial investigation revealed that there was no suspicious circumstance surrounding her death.
Police urged anyone who knows the identity of the deceased to contact investigating officers of Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-Unit of Marine Harbour Division on 2886 8761.
