Police today (June 29) arrested a 36-year-old man in suspected connection with a murder case in Yau Ma Tei this morning in which a 38-year-old man died.
About 7.50am this morning, the 38-year-old man was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital by a private car for medical treatment and the car left the hospital immediately afterwards. Sustaining various wounds, the man was certified dead at 8.12am.
About 8.20am, Police located a suspicious private car at Woosung Street in Yau Ma Tei and arrested a 36-year-old man in suspected connection with the case. He is still being detained for further enquiries.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow morning (June 30) to ascertain the cause of death of the man.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Yau Ma Tei are underway.
