SFST to attend St Petersburg International Economic Forum

The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan, will depart for St. Petersburg in Russia tonight (June 15) to attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum 2011 to be held from June 16 to 18.
Professor Chan will speak at two panel sessions, "Russia's Strategies Shift East, but How Much?" on June 17 and "Global Economic Trends - How Sustainable Is the Asian Economic Engine?" on June 18. He also plans to meet with government officials and senior executives of enterprises in the financial services sector during his stay in St Petersburg.
He will return to Hong Kong on June 19.
